The Trinkaus papers comprise twenty 12" x 14" boxes and one 19" x 26" box, spanning in date from 1938 to 2002. They contain correspondence; notes and manuscripts for Trinkaus’s classic book on cell migration, Cells in Organs: The Forces that Shape the Embryo and his memoir, Embryologist; speeches; photographs; collected aphorisms, humorous essays, clippings, and cartoons; microscope slides; and multiple VHS tapes.

The Sager papers, dating from 1946 to 1999, includes one 17" x 11" x 3" box and twenty-two 24" x 12" boxes. They contain correspondence, lab notes, class notes, cultures, slides, discs and biographical information. There is also a box containing Sager’s bound reprints.

There are also copies of portraits of eminent scientists from the Genetics Society in 1967. One folder contains letters to E. B. Wilson from his colleagues regarding the publication of The Cell in 1896.
